![]() After the duel in "Covention" Luz tells Amity that she didn't mean to embarrass her as she tried to comfort her, only for her to lash out at Luz, thinking that she's ruining her life until she learns there's more to Luz than that, that she's actually a really kind person, and her own attitude is keeping her from understanding her better, however Amity continues being mean to Luz and blaming her for getting her in trouble and had to re-learn that in "Lost in Language" after an incident involving her diary, the Blight twins and a conflict with a corrupted book character.Adventurer Archaeologist: The "Where Are They Now?" Epilogue shows she is working for Lilith's new museum as a procurer of ancient literature.Actually Pretty Funny: Amity is usually a sour/stoic, no-nonsense kind of girl, but Luz through her usual antics and bright personality can generally get her to laugh no matter how dire the situation.Actress Allusion: In "Eclipse Lake", Amity carries around a jar of abomination goo on her belt for quick use and utilizes it during her battle with Hunter for the portal key, much like Katara's waterskin, and even controls it in much the same way, befitting their shared voice actress. She even fights Hunter the Golden Guard to a standstill in "Eclipse Lake", the latter being a prodigy in his own right. In "Escaping Expulsion", her father Alador notes that she is on track to become the head of the Abomination Coven some day, a role that Alador himself wasn't strong enough to attain. Throughout the series, Amity is usually the most composed member of the main cast, at least so long as she isn't trying to impress Luz. She was also the former captain of Hexside's grudgby team who only quit the sport after a blunder resulted in several of her teammates getting hurt. The Ace: Amity is at the top of her class when it comes to magical talent, and was specifically picked by the head of the Emperor's Coven to be her protege.Academic Athlete: On top of being Hexside's top student, she used to be the Banshees' grudgby captain and still has the skills.By the end of Season 1, she's no longer the top student at Hexside, a position Willow now holds, something Amity has grown to be okay with. However, "Covention" reveals that she puts immense pressure on herself to be the best, and "Lost in Language" explores even further how badly she suffers as a result of this choice. Academic Alpha Bitch: She's a relentless grade-grubber who enjoys rubbing her aptitude in Willow's face, sucks up to the teacher and is absolutely furious when someone takes her place as the class' top student.By the end of the episode, Amity has disowned her mother and Odalia leaves after making an enemy out of every member of her family. ![]() ![]() In "Clouds on the Horizon", while her father sides with Amity and the twins against Belos, Odalia is revealed to be an Evil Matriarch who is willing to let Belos kill everyone else on the Boiling Isles just so the Blight family could become royalty. In "Reaching Out", Amity begins to repair her relationship with her father, who realizes the harm he's caused his children through his neglect and complacency with Odalia's controlling behavior. Her mother, Odalia, emotionally abuses her with her Oracle magic (even calling her Mittens), and uses her position to expel her friends from Hexside as punishment, while her father, Alador, is a Social Darwinist at worst. In "Escaping Expulsion", we get to know them for the first time, and it's not pretty. Even if that meant preventing Willow from entering Hexside. Abusive Parents: In "Understanding Willow", we learn that her parents forced her to end her friendship with Willow, under the threat that if she didn't they would.
